How to Put your Shop on Vacation

We all need a break. At Wicked Plum, we’ve made it easy for you (hotel and airfare not included).

It is, however, easy to set your shop to be on vacation. In the left sidebar, click on ‘Users’ to open the accordion if necessary, then click on ‘Your Profile’.

Here you can change all sorts of things, including your password, your contact information, your preferred color scheme — but the part we’re interested in is way down at the bottom, under ‘Mal’s information’.

No checkbox necessary — simply enter your vacation message in the box marked as such, and it will magically appear in place of all of your purchase and cart buttons. But do note that this works if there’s anything in that box — even just a space, so make sure you don’t put anything there unless you’re sure you’re off on a grand adventure.

To set your shop to be ready to go again, just delete your message from the box, and you’re open! Easy as that.
