How to Offer Free Shipping
So you’re having a sale, and you want to offer free shipping. Or you want to offer free shipping for all orders over, say, $25. You do this using Mal’s E-commerce (https://www.mals-e.com/). Log into Mal’s and click on ‘Cart Setup’.
Click on ‘Tax and Shipping’, then on ‘Shipping’.
If you’re having a sale you want to emphasize what your customers are saving — so instead of choosing ‘No shipping’ (which won’t even mention the concept) you’re probably better off choosing ‘Fixed Value’ and putting in a value of 0.
If you do this, make sure you also change your flat handling fee to 0.
This way your customer will see their free shipping right in their shopping cart.
Free shipping for orders over a certain amount is set in the same dialog.
Setting up a coupon for free shipping is done in the coupon dialog.
