How to Edit Info Pages

One of the first things you’ll want to do in setting up your site is write up your info pages — your intro page, your about page, your policies, locations, upcoming shows, that sort of thing. Here’s how you do it.

Log into your Wicked Plum page. You’ll see your Dashboard; on the left side, under ‘Pages’, click on ‘Pages’ to see a list of your info pages.

You’ll start with Home, About, and Contact pages; we’ll edit your Contact page as an example. Hover over ‘Contact’ and click on ‘Edit’.

What you’ll get is the same sort of page you use to write a blog post. That’s because, well, it is the sort of page you use to write a blog post.

You can use the visual editor or the HTML editor — whichever you’re more comfortable with. Either way you have the text formatting tools you’re used to, like Bold, Italicise, Underline, Center, and the rest.

You can’t mess up the contact form that’s already on your ‘Contact’ page, so feel free to put in whatever contact information you want your customers to have.

While you’re working you’ll probably want to see what your new page is going to look like — click on ‘Preview Changes’ over to the right, and it’ll open a preview up in a new window.

Once you’ve finished making your changes, just click on ‘Update’ over to the right (below ‘Preview Changes) and you’re done!
