How to Set up a Gallery of Sold Items

We all have items that have long been sold that we love and want to shop off to the world. Luckily, setting up a Wicked Plum gallery is easy as pie. (Click any images below to enlarge.)

Step 1: Gallery Basics
At first, adding a gallery is just like adding a new item. Log in to your shop, expand the Items menu, and click “New”. Enter a title for your page – in this case, “Gallery of Work” – and a description.

Step 2: Upload Gallery Images
Next, upload your images. The first image you upload will be your main gallery image, just like it is for an item. Add as many images as you want using the Additional Image uploaders – they’ll all be linked together through the built-in gallery feature.

Step 3: Price and Quantity
Since there’s nothing to buy, but you still want the post to display, set the price to “n/a” and the quantity to 0.

Step 4: Transform an Item into a Gallery
This step is critical and will keep your gallery from displaying with your regular items. Scroll to the Categories menu on the right. Uncheck the Shop All Categories box, and check the Gallery box.

If you don’t have a ‘Gallery’ category already, you can add it as a new category.

Step 4: Finish and Publish
Add any additional information you’d like, and click Publish.
