Go over to MailChimp and set up a new campaign for in-stock notices. Get the code for a signup form (our MailChimp tutorial goes through how to do this).
Now edit the item that’s out of stock. Usually you’ll work in the Visual tab, but for this, you’ll need to click on the HTML tab.
Paste the code for the MailChimp signup form into the item description. Now, switch back to the Visual tab.
Save your item, and poof! Instant notification signup.
When you’re caught up on those ceramic cat beds, send an email out to the campaign you’ve just set up and everyone who wanted to know when they could buy them will get a notification. Poof! Ravening hordes.
